Malaysia to Host ‘Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals’ for the First Time!

Get ready, esports fans! Malaysia is all set to host the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur. This will be the first time the event is held in our country, continuing from previous tournaments in Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Manila since 2018. The competition has grown from 8 participating regions to over 15, making this sixth edition the biggest yet.

Top DOTA 2 and VALORANT teams from 15 regions will battle it out for a USD 400,000 prize pool and esports glory. Acer is also running a Predator League character design contest, giving fans a chance to create the next iconic character for the league.

Qualifiers for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Malaysia are now open until August 18, 2024. Teams can sign up HERE to compete for a spot in the Grand Finals and a slice of the prize pool.

Acer is bringing the excitement to gamers nationwide with qualifiers in four regions: North, Central, and South in Peninsular Malaysia, and East Malaysia, from mid-September to late October 2024.

Here’s the schedule:

Kuala Lumpur — 14-15 September 2024
Sabah — 21-22 September 2024
Johor — 18-19 October 2024
Penang — 26-27 October 2024

Winners from each region will face off in an offline event in Klang Valley in November 2024, competing for the lion’s share of the RM 180,000 (USD 38,500) prize pool and the chance to represent Malaysia in the Grand Finals against top teams from 14 other regions.
